outside your boundaries. Even if it’s just going to your nearby park, do
anything you want to do that doesn't result in a negative affect. This world is
huge and has so many possibilities, you have the ability to move and see
extraordinary things and change the world. NO ONE should stop you from
accomplishing what you want to do in your life, the people you want to affect.
It’s your choice to do whatever you want. This life is literally to short to
second think something great that you want to do. My greatest fear is being old
and looking back on my life and wishing I could've of done something that I didn't Wishing I could have changed the world, been something, seen something,
that I would no longer have the ability to do. That fate should not happen to
anyone.

Manifesto: Analyze your mind- Part three: Don't hate, meditate
Don’t hate anything or anyone. Even the most nastiest person
in this world because EVERYONE has goodness, kindness in
their heart. To have hate in your heart is to have a black web in you that just
spreads every time you think of that certain person, place, object, event. It’s
not worth it to hate something, because that’s only making you a fouler person
than what you want to be. Put your hate into something that results into a
positive energy . Pray, travel, worship, sleep… meditate.

Manifesto: Analyze your mind-Part two: Give back
Whoever
you think you came from, or whatever you think you came from; God, Buddha,
Science, Allah, reincarnation,
sun God. Because
without them there would be no you would cease to exist, there would be nobody.
They made you who you are and you should give back to them, whether you do it
through worship(God, Buddha, etc.) study (science, reincarnation) or just thank
whatever you thought made you here on this earth. And earth, give back to it
also because without it you cease to live. Don’t pollute, don’t destroy, give
back, plant a tree, help the less fortunate. The native Americans would plant
fruit or a vegetable in dirt as a symbol of respect for what earth has gave to
us.
Manifesto: Analyze your mind- Part one: (Over) Thinking
Think
outside the box. “I think too much” “I overthink things” People have always
portrayed thinking, or overthinking, as a bad thing, but is it bad? To think
about things of interest, uninterested in, to overthink the brain, to think
more into depth? To find new things about the world, people, subjects, objects,
that you never knew before, all just because you THINK. We are brainwashed into
thinking that we need to go to school, work, to be “trapped inside.” God did
not make this enormous beautiful world just so we can only see half of it when
we are 50, elderly, and retired. Because if you think about it, he wont punish
you if you don’t go to school or go to work. As long as you are close to your
maker, he doesn’t look at you wrong or punish you just because you want to see
more in the world and do more with your life. But we are tricked by society
that if you don’t work, don’t go to school, don’t study, we are a “ menace to society” a loser, a nobody,
someone who will never amount to much in this world. I’m not saying that school
is a hell hole, it does teach and inform you, and I’m not saying that work is
useless it disciplines you , but who is to say you cant teach ,inform, discipline,
yourself?
What you pawn, I will admire
In the short story, "What you pawn I
will redeem" Jackson Jackson is the main character and he is a Spoken
Native American. He is a homeless, jobless man who throughout the story finds
his way around town surviving off free food, getting drunk on a regular basis,
and has the company of his two friends, Rose of Sharon and Junior. Throughout
the whole story Jackson always remains homeless, nothing changes, but he
doesn't let that bring him down and always has a sense of humor to bring to the
table, or just to himself.
One example of Jackson being humorous is when
he says, "All
right, math genius,” I said to her,
and then shouted for the whole bar to hear. Five drinks for everybody!” In my
perspective Jackson is more of a witty kind of guy. He's very sarcastic to
people which is ironic since he proclaims himself to be such a nice guy.
Jackson seems like he doesn't take himself too serious, he seems
to just go with the flow and doesn't let things get to him even, when he in a
very dangerous situation. He's been through so much in his life that things
don't faze him so much like they would to other people. For example when he
jokes, "No, man, that place is awful,” I
said. “It’s full of drunk Indians.” When
the police offers to take him to the Detox he makes a remark like that even
though, he himself is an Indian and is always drunk on a continuous basis. He
makes a joke even though the bartender beat him up, he wandered around and then
passed out on the railroad tracks. Even the cop in the story shakes his head
and says, “You Indians. How the hell do you
laugh so much? I
just picked your ass off the railroad tracks, and you’re making jokes. Why the hell do you do that?”
Overall Jackson's outlook on life is extremely positive, and I excessively admire his attitude.
He is a homeless man living on the toughest streets of New York, and still manages to keep a warm heart and a optimistic personality. When
something bad goes wrong in his life, like other people he doesn't
automatically let that keep him down, he makes it into a joke to keep himself
happy and to remind himself that there are far worse off things in life too be
depressed about.A needle to the soul (part two)
Euthanasia
is from the Greek language meaning “good death”, in my opinion euthanasia is
just a pretty of wording suicide (if the person is aware of what he or she is
being ejected with). In the 17th century they didn’t OVER think euthanasia as
much as they did now, to them it was an easy, painless, spiritual concept it
was even a happy death to them and not such a burden to think about. However
people today, have put in more thought into whether it should legalized or not.
I
think euthanasia should not be legalized for a person with a terminal
illness. If euthanasia is legalized
people who have brain damage who are unconscious could be put down without
their own recognition, it wouldn’t be fair because they wouldn’t even have a
say in whether or not they want to live.
Another reason it should be illegal is when put under a great amount of
physical pain from their illness most people became depressed and don’t have
the right set of mind. Suicide is one
of the top side effects that come from being depressed and instead of just
jumping to injecting yourself with a chemical that could kill you, people with
depression from their pain could take drugs that everyday people use (without
an illness) to treat their depression.
Another argument to illegalize euthanasia is if patient is religious
Christian, Catholic, the bible clearly states that if you chose suicide as an
option to end your life, you go straight to hell. Even though you are not personally injecting
the chemical into yourself, a person is doing it for you because you don’t know
how to which the same thing as suicide. Like I said before if a person is under
a great amount of pain there mind is disoriented, people could easily forget about , Religion and the
important quote : “Do you not know that your
body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from
God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God
with your body."
If a person is truly in pain and doesn’t want
to be a burden to their family and friends I think if worse comes worst they
could put themselves down illegally, like there doing in Australia where some
people sell euthanasia out of the back of their truck. Even though here in
America we may not do the same exact thing, you could go see a doctor under the
market and illegally be put down.
Overall, I do not think euthanasia should be
legalized for all the reasons I described above. Death should be just as
natural as being born, unpredicted

Just a peice of paper
Imagine
the world without any money. Not a dollar or cent. At first it seems a bit
insane, but if you think MORE into it, it makes sense. All the debt in the
world (which is 17.5 trillion) would just disappear. As individuals, we will
gain complete economic freedom. In return, a way of life without money demands
only that we, as individuals, do the work we love to do. It is a win/win
situation.
Everyone
would work for free in a “no money world.” However working, and not getting
anything in return is pretty whack, but everyone would have to work to keep the
society running properly. For example; farmers would still have to keep growing
and distributing food to stores, store clerks would still have to check the
food to make sure it’s not spoiled, the cashier would still need to keep
scanning the products and so on and so forth. People would
still need to work at the movies, breweries, restaurants, clothing stores, etc.
etc. to keep everything in order. People would go to work because they NEEDED
to not because they have to.
Without
any money, the world would have no issues. No money issues, no economic issues,
no class, issues, no debt issues. A world without issues is a world where
everyone can get along, because people would no longer have a weight on their
shoulder from their economic debt. When people have no issues, people have no
problems.
We
Americans love our freedom; yet, we have allowed the use of money to completely
dominate our way of life. Indeed, we are no longer a free people. We are 7.4
trillion dollars in debt. We live in fear of depression, inflation, inadequate
medical coverage and losing our jobs. Our freedom is at stake if not our very
survival. Yet, we put our collective heads in the sand.
Yes,
there is something we can do. We can look into ourselves for an answer. We may
find that we have the strength to carry out our internal economic affairs
without the need to use money. Yes, we will still need to use money when
dealing with other countries.
There
is no question that a way of life without money will alleviate if not
completely eliminate all of the previously mentioned problems. Yet, we scoff at
the idea. We are totally convinced that money is a necessity. We cannot imagine
life without money. Perhaps the time has come to think otherwise. It is
completely obvious our present economy no longer satisfies our present day
needs.
Can
we learn to distribute our goods and services according to need (on an ongoing
basis) rather than by the ability to pay? Why not? Poverty and materialism will
be eliminated! Our sense of value will change. Wealth will no longer be a
status symbol. A man will be judged by what he is; not by what he has. He will
be judged by his achievements, leadership, ideas, artistic abilities or
athletic prowess; not by the size of his wallet. - By John Steinsvold
Yes, everything will be free according to need. All the necessities and common luxuries will be available on a help yourself basis at the local store. Surely, this country is capable of supplying the necessities and common luxuries for everyone in this country many times over.

Silver spoon in hand
"Some folks are born made to
wave the flag
Ooh, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one
Ooh, they're red, white and blue

Creedence Clearwater- Fortunate Son
A
deeper meaning~~
We all know this famous political song by
Creedence and Clearwater, a song that screams out the ugly truth, opening the
fellow Americans eyes back in the late 60's. To me this song is an anthem for
Americans in the late 60's who finally came to the realization that the Vietnam
war was a terrible mistake. It's an impassioned statement against the Vietnam
War and the political establishment in late-1960s America. It's saying that
America is this golden land with golden hero's (the troops) but NO THANKS I
don't want to be anything like them because I'm not blinded and dim-witted, I
see what war is doing to us, to its people, and instead of being like everyone
else who is pro-war I'm going to be against it, not because they want to be "original"
but because they want to prove a point and a deeper meaning that just "war
is bad let's leave it at that." . Creedence Clearwater Revival,
even more than other antiwar musicians of the era, were able to give voice
especially to the class-based grievances let loose by the Vietnam War.
"Fortunate Son" was an anti-Vietnam War protest song, sure. Like
Springsteen's "Born in the USA," Creedence's "Fortunate
Son" has often been misheard as a simple, un-ironic, patriotic anthem.
Just as many fans hear Springsteen's spar-spangled chorus and totally miss the
bitterness of the words in "Born in the USA," here many tune out
after the opening lines, "Some folks are born made to wave the flag/ Ooh,
they're red, white and blue." Many then miss the strong anti-establishment
message that follows. Both artists also work in a style drenched in Americana,
making it easy to assume that the lyrics contain messages that are patriotic or
even jingoistic in viewpoint. The entire song is built upon the idea that there
is as unbridgeable divide that splits the fortunate sons and the unfortunate
sons in America. For the fortunate sons, "born with silver spoon in
hand," life is good. Protected by class privilege and a discriminatory
military draft system that favored the wealthy and well educated, they will
never have to serve a tour of duty in Vietnam. They have the luxury of seeing
the war as nothing more than an abstract idea, something they hear about on the
news. They're free to support the war without having to face the consequences.
But for the unfortunate sons of America, who have no inherited wealth or privilege to protect them, the draft is likely to send them off to the jungles of Vietnam to fight and maybe die in a seemingly pointless war against an intractable enemy. Fogerty's lyrics argue that it is the fathers of the fortunate sons—"senators," "millionaires"—who got America entangled in Vietnam, but it is the sons of the powerless—disproportionately poor, black, and brown—who have to pay the ultimate price.

Vulture eye
A question that has
always boggled in my head, whenever reading the implausible,' The Raven', by
Edgar Allen Poe was why was he, the main character that is, the narrator AND
the killer? In my perspective Poe purposely wanted to be the narrator and the
killer. He wanted sympathy from the reader and he didn't want the reader to
think he was mad or even delusional for killing the old man just for his
"vulture" eye.
"TRUE! nervous,
very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why WILL you say that I am
mad?" This one quote is the very
first sentence from the story. He wanted the reader to automatically think and
BELEIEVE that he is not crazy.
The whole point of
Poe being the narrator is to get sympathy from the reader. I think without Poe
being the narrator, people automatically think that he is mad. If someone else
was telling the story, an outside source, we wouldn't know why Poe killed the
old man. All the reader would know is that Poe is sneaking into the house, for
no reason, killing the man, for no reason, and confessing to the police, for no
reason. The reader would have to make a conclusion for all of Poe's actions. We
would have to assume that Poe is a mad man. However, with Poe being the
narrator, he gives us what's happening in his head, and his motif for killing
and stalking. He wants to make the reader understand that he is not just crazy
mental.
From then on in
paragraphs one and two he explains why he wanted to kill the old man and he
sums it up by confronting the reader (and himself in a way) that he truly isn't
screwy. In paragraphs one and two I think Poe knew he was crazy for killing the
old man just for his eye because he keeps going on and on and giving
descriptive details on WHY he wants him dead like he's trying to trick the
reader and even HIMSELF to prove he isn't insane.
A needle to the soul.
One thing I strongly disagree on is
abortion. No one should be able to kill
a small embryo which is a new born baby in just nine months. It's wrong to kill
something this is helpless just because someone made a mistake and doesn't want
to deal with the consequences . In life EVERYONE makes mistakes, and people
don't just 'kill' there mistakes and go on living their life, they have to deal
with it and learn from it, so why should women who are getting abortions not
have to learn a life lesson?
I really hope in the next few years
the every state will ban abortions. It's a cruel law that needs to be illegal.
In the bible it says "Thou shall not kill" which makes me think about
euthanasia. To me abortions are like euthanasia, your just killing a person so
you don't have to deal with them anymore. I do understand that some people cant
afford to take care of a baby, they might not have the financial support, they
could be mentally ill, they could be too young, or maybe they could be just not
ready, but that doesn't mean you have to jump getting rid of a precious thing
inside you. There are other ways to turn like giving a baby up for adoption.
Giving a baby to a family whom may not be able to make a baby is a far greater
fate than just choosing abortion.
In North Dakota legislature has passed a bill
that would essentially ban abortions by defining life as starting at
conception. Republican governor, John Dalrymple, still must sign the measure
before it can become law. This gives me hope that even though one state is on
its way to making abortion illegal, hopefully it will pass throughout ALL America.
Its funny to me that even something so
simple like jay walking across the street is illegal, but killing, what is
going to be a human in just a few short months is legal.
In conclusion, getting an
abortion is a awful, sad law some people have to make the decision of making.
For some people they don't think twice of there being any other way of dealing
with a baby, so they chose abortion, if people just think more into other
options of their consequences they might just be more pleased with their choice
OTHER than abortion.
